UTiLiTRAY® is a patented portable work surface that provides a stable, adjustable work surface in environments that traditionally have none. It easily moves with technicians as they perform testing, calibrations, repairs or new equipment installations. No more resting instruments, laptops or parts on a curved or irregular shape. UTiLiTRAY® can be adjusted to fit 2” through 8” pipes, can hold up to 50 pounds and utilizes Neoprene grip pads that will not harm pipe coatings.

Using the thumb screw, adjust jaw opening until work table is level and secure. Grip the pipe with rubber jaw faces.
Test the weight-bearing ability of the Utilitray®; tighten the clamping jaws as necessary for a secure fit.
The Utilitray fits 2” through 8” pipe (maximum 8.625”) or a flat surface by using the optional adapter. Do not exceed the maximum load rating of 50 lbs. Please do not install the Utilitray on insulated pipe.
Will the Utilitray damage pipe coatings?
We made the gripping pads out of 70 durometer neoprene rubber for several reasons: Neoprene is a soft rubber by nature. The deflection of the surface to accommodate pipe curvature allows for maximum interface to enhance friction without scuffing the pipe coating.
Neoprene rubber is a cross-linked synthetic polymer and chemically inert. It cannot dissolve or weaken pipe coatings.
Will oil or other chemicals destroy the neoprene pads?
Neoprene is inherently heat, oil, water and solvent resistant. It has the ability to withstand petroleum-based mixtures, such as solvents, oils, greases, methyl and ethyl alcohols as well as alkalis, mineral acids and most salt solutions.
Neoprene is sun and ozone resistant and is especially useful for long-term outdoor use. It also has a very low oxidation rate, making it resistant to both indoor and outdoor environments.
Can I leave a Utilitray clamped in the same spot at a location for several years?
When the Utilitray is left clamped to a pipe for several years, the paint beneath the neoprene pads is actually preserved from the elements.
